One day I was walking over the bridge on Roosevelt and Canal and came across this extraordinary sight.

this is from a project called Constructed Beliefs this particular image is titled “My Plastic Child.”  The project plays with the concept of what photography is, especially now with all the digital tools at hand, but the meaning goes deeper when focusing on the specific images I created. To create the images, I used multiple photographs that related to each other in a certain way (in this instance fashion, beauty, and identity) and layered them on top of each other. The end result here was a distorted monolithic gaze.
